Hi everyone
We are new to the board. Still at filling in EOI stage and already panicing about the medical. How much sway does you family history have in your medical? My family history is terrible - both parents died in their 50s - 1 brother diabetic - other brother had heart attack last year (46). Help??? will this prevent me from passing medical? :uhoh
Hope someone out there can help.
Thanks
Dibber and Coley

Hi Dibber and Coley. My dad died of cancer at age 46, and my mom died of cancer at age 54. We listed it on the medical form, and NZIS never said a thing about it. We were granted PR in 2005.

I'm sorry to hear that you brother had a heart attack so young.

On a much lighter note -- welcome to the forum. :)
