The weekly O'Hagens 5K series started again last night. Every monday night 6.00pm start from O'Hagens pub on the Pakuranga Highway on the corner of Aviemore drive, $2 on the night.

Good, fast, flat course and nice atmosphere. Runners from babies pushed in prams up to old giffers.

I had the pleasure of not only being beaten by very old men and women as I had just got used to in the UK but now children streaking past me. Grrrrrrr.

See you there next week

Dan

PS - irons - I finished...:nice1 ...Just.

Ah yeah Sal saw the bays 8k, I'm doing the mareitai tri that day. Will have to try and join Al out at the lagoon one afternoon. Oh and you know the O'hagens 5K is every monday for the next 12 weeks - so get him down there at least once so I can have a beer with him afterwards...;)

Tri-girl, nice one - keep on keeping on...
