Contributors to the Canterbury economy are being consulted on a new Department of Labour initiative.
The project - CVs Online - is being established to help employers find skilled staff from overseas.
Online programme manager Arron Baker says it would be a one stop shop for migrants seeking employment.
He says local employers, councils and industry leaders will be asked for ideas on the project in Christchurch this week.
