I have "outward passage waived" printed on my blue sticker conditions section. Does this mean I don't have to buy a return out of NZ, ie I can just buy a one-way flight?

Dont have the answer sadly but wanted to join your question.

As i have similar with my WHV through Bunac, i was told that with my one-way flights i would need proof of £500 extra (on top visa fund requiremenets) available to me on entry for purchase of my outgoing flights. But my blue 12mth WHV sticker also says "outward passage waived" ?

I wonder if the part that says "funds waived" refers to not having to prove that money is available to buy an outward flight that you refer to?

I had outward passsge waived. I went to NZ with a one-way ticket on a WHV no problems and no-one needed to see proof of my funds (although I had it with me just in case).
