Okay, not the milk. Us. We're completely spoiled here because one of the local dairies in the Ottawa region delivers fresh milk in the 1 litre glass bottles. I swore to myself that I'd never get anything else, ever again.
Now I have to wonder if the same is available in NZ.
The difference is stunning. I won't say that I gagged when I bought milk once recently in a carton, but there was a distinct difference.
So, can anyone confirm that they know of a dairy that:
1) delivers
2) has milk in bottles

Hahahah yep, get a cow, many people round here have a house cow (although my neighbour's is now in the freezer!!). Or, like me, live near a friendly farmer who will be able to legally sell you 5 litres a day of raw milk (or is that a week, I don't remember, check). You need to make sure said farmer does all the TB test thingys too (technical, aren't I!).
I get mine for cheese-making, but I don't actually like the taste of it raw!

Get out of my head! I always wanted to take up 'cheese making' as a hobby.
Okay, now I know whom I should contact. Thanks!

My relatives told me in NZ they actually carted around cows and they would fill up glass bottles straight from the cow as they walked along the streets.
I'm in Christchurch and the milkman still does daily deliveries of bottled milk. However, i've found the quality & taste is no different than the 2L plastic containers you can buy at the grocery mart.

Bad solution. With the Green Party being so strong, she may get slapped with a new tax for all the Gases the cow may produce.:D
