WARNING!!!!!!!!!

Don't let the packers get hold of your printer and stash it in a box BEFORE you have chance to remove the ink cartridges from it!

I had read about taking them out and had it on my list of things to remember however the packers had stashed the printer before I had chance to sort it - I though 'oh it'll be ok!!!!' :no

I've just spent half the afternoon cleaning the ink that had leaked out, up, and trying to get the flippin thing to work - the heads were all clogged up - anyway after dismantling it with my trusty screw driver - a few well aimed smacks of frustration on the printer and a bit of 'blue air around' I have got it sorted!

So save yourselves an afternoon of messy hassle - take the ink cartridges out before they pack the printer! :yes

Now I'd better go and bleach the sink to get rid of the ink on my hands! :exit

As mine have the print head in them as well, I might want to try putting some kind of tape over that end to keep it all from running out and then putting them in a separate plastic bag. There are 4 ink tanks on my printer.
