Hi all,

When i completed the EOI i only placed on my wife, son and daughter (who has decided not to come to NZ) on the main part of the form.

People have talked about sponsoring other relatives in the future to come over. My questions are around this very area.

1. Is it posible to place more people on the ITA form (which we have now received) on the anticipation that some of them may want to come in the future?
2. I am the main applicant, can the extra names come from both sides of the family or just mine?
3. Can i add parents, sister's and brother's to the list and if so where do they go on the form or do i need a suplimentary piece?

Sorry for the long questions, i am getting confussed slightly.

We did the same as you, we just put ourselves on the EOI but when we submitted our ITA we simply submitted a supplementary sheet with siblings and parents on just in case they should ever consider coming over in the future. We put on both sides of the family - not just OH's who is the main applicant and included a note to the effect that we thought the mention of family on the EOI was just for the family we were applying for residency for and had now realised everyone could go on the form. I think it just makes it easier for NZIS in the future to make the link between family members should anyone else want to apply.

I was under the impression that you had to provide this information on the EOI anyway? We did.

Which form did you place the extra people on to or did you just add a letter???

It was part of the EOI form - so it will be on the ITA form, because it is the printout of your EOI that you get back. I don't know if there will be extra spaces, but there are addendum forms as part of the ITA pack anyway.
