Hello...the ITA is nearly finished...just a few more days...! I am sending it with explanation that NZQA (fast tracked) and TC registration have been applied for and results will be forwarded to them upon completion.
Has anyone had any experience with London team's patience waiting for all docs to be gathered?
I know there is currently a 4 mo. backlog getting to ITA's, and while I feel my assessment and registration will be finished before they get to my application in the stack (fingers crossed), what if they are not?
Please share your experiences and time frames.

Ok...now not feeling so good about things...Here's an excerpt from INZ regarding the new rule about full assessment that went into place Dec. 06:
"If you have claimed bonus points for a qualification and or work experience in an area of absolute shortage and have not sent your full NZQA assessment with your application INZ will not accept the application for processing. This is because you will not have met the mandatory lodgement requirements which are detailed in our Operational Manual (R2.40 (a) (viii)."
So does that mean they will send my application back to me? I have preassessment but NZQA probably just got my application and ITA deadline is Mar. 17.
So, do they open ITA's to make sure all is there when it arrives, or do they put it aside and open later when they finally get to it (which could be in 4 months or so)
Help, anyone there?

Ok guys, I did more of my own research :yes , asked this question on every board I could find, and here's the response I got:
A board member from elsewhere says, "I emailed the London branch of Immigration New Zealand and got the following reply:
I can advise that the new NZQA Assessment criteria that has been
introduced to the Residency application process does not apply to
yourself. The requirement of having to submit a full NZQA Assessment
applies only to those applications that have been selected from the pool
from December 2006. As you were selected from the pool 8 November 2006, your application is not affected.
So this means that if your EOI was selected before December 2006, you dont need to get NZQA to assess your qualifications (provided they are on the list of recognised qualifications obviously)."
Ok...back to acting like a non-crazy person, whew.....:clap
