It's the bit about thousands of containers falling off into the sea each year that worried me before we moved...:roll Of course it's just a tiny percentage of all the containers.
Thanks for posting. :)

I'm just glad that it gives oceanographers the unexpected opportunities to track global ocean currents... makes it all worthwhile, doesn't it... :laugh :roll

yeah, just think, we could actually cause some guy in a white coat untold joy as our life's posessions float along in the ocean currents and he tracks it on radar.... oh joy :laugh
Seriously, I did spot a couple in my time at sea, and it is incredibly difficult to spot on radar, just something that a sharp eyed lookout has to see.

Okay...so I'm a little freaked out about shipping my belongings across the Pacific. 2,000-10,000 A YEAR???? I'm having issues putting my photos into a container now. Must. Get. Over. It. ;)
