Help!!!!!!!!
Would like to buy a decent secondhand campervan/car/truck to convert in Auckland for our journey North. Any suggestions of where to look and who to avoid

Lots of forumites had to Moyes on the Panmure roundabout, which is Holden (Vauxhall) dealer with a big second-hand section. We went there but couldn't find what we wanted.
Your best bet for second-hand is the Great South Road, there are hundreds, if not thousands of car dealers there, secondhand and new. There is a big cluster of dealerships also in Newmarket, with all the European marques there (Audi, Peugeot etc).
Haven't heard any horror stories from anyone, so can't say who to avoid....

Agree with Gil above. We found Moyes great for service and found a wonderful Zafira (manual!) at a reasonable price. Definately worth taking a look around their 'yard'.

will certainly check website out. Have just realised that were actually leaving our home in 5 weeks and not 6....... Panic stations. Anyhow I've written so many lists it's unbelievable!
