New Zealand - Passport renewal

We came out here to Auckland at the beginning of last year with full working visas, but here is the problem, the passports run out in April. Does anyone know how to get our new UK passports with our Visas in them. Any help would be appreciated.

HI, this was something i had to take into consideration before applying for our work visas.
Firstly, we were going out to NZ as holidaymakers (as i have found a lot do, and then apply for work permits whilst out there). We already had job offer, and were going to apply for work permist when we got out there for my hubby.In order to ship our stuff over, we had to apply for work visa's now. We are just applying for the one year ones as cheapest option. We fly out in April.
My passport ran out in July and little ones next February. I rang up pasport office in Newport as well as NZ house, and was advised to update before travel.

You get UK passports (including renewals) from the British Embassy in Wellington. I just filled in a form that I picked up at a Link office? (memory is fuzzy if that's what they were called) and posted it up to Wellington and they sent me my passport. You can get the form online too.

But the Embassy can't transfer the blue stickers, you need to go to a NZIS branch office with your old passport and new passport and they'll reissue the stickers.

You have to pay a fee for this (surprise surprise) but you don't have to fill out any forms.

Thank you all for your replies. I have downloaded the form and I will fill in and send it off.
