OK we need a few bananas before I tell you :raebanana :raebanana :raebanana we got PR!!!!
Our case worker went on holiday at the end of last week - we handed in our docs on Wednesday last week. I phoned her number today to see if someone else was looking after our application as I was a bit concerned - we fly out on 4th January.
I had a call from the case worker who is covering for ours saying that our passports were with visa issuing today and that we should receive all our documents back by special delivery tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!! That's only a week - wowweeee!!!!!! Ian did have a letter of talent accreditation from his employer in NZ (from NZIS) stating that they would turn working visas around in 5 working days but we did not expect PR to be turned around that quickly.
I'm so shocked - oh and excited (and feel like a huge weight has been lifted)!!! I want to get on a plane now!!! Now - where's that champagne? :cheers
