Hi everyone

I wanted to say a big thank you to everybody who has helped with our combination of daft questions and equally daft ramblings over the past couple of months and also to say cheerio for the next three weeks as we are on the plane for our reccie in 48 hours :D :D :D

We're touring the South Island then having a week in Welly as we're planning on making it our home when we make the perm move. When we get back I'll let everyone know how we got on and post some pictures too.

Take care all and I hope everyone else who is due to visit/move to NZ in the next few weeks has a great journey :yes

Good luck and take some time to enjoy yourselves! We did our recce to Wellington about a year ago and though we spent most of our time looking at houses, suburbs, and pricing everything the parts I remember fondly are hiking in Eastbourne, taking the beautiful drive around the eastern coast (still haven't made it out to the famous Chocolate Fish, though try The Bach in Owhiro Bay for coffee, yummy treats and a great view if you make it down that way), a side trip to the Wairarapa wine country & of course having an excuse not to cook for a week :)
