Anyone had the above fitted to their home? If so I'd really love an indication on price - we're looking at getting DVS with warm air option with 4 vents. Have got the man coming round to quote soon. Would really be keen to hear how people find these systems.

We are having the HRV system fitted in our new house .We were given the choice of DVS or HRV . We are members of consumer.org.nz and have access to all the prices.Can you pm me with the rough size of your house,how many rooms etc and I will work it out for you for both firms. We have DVS fitted, it was already here when we bought the house. We have one vent in the hall way. When the home show came to Chch we went to investigate the possibility of have the warm air option fitted. (We haven't spent a winter in the house yet, have no idea how cold the hallway and bedrooms will be) The DVS guy told us that the best/cheapest option was to place a heater under the vent and as the warm air rose it would be circulated by the air coming out of the vent. Will be interesting to hear what you are quoted.
