Hi to all members of the forum from Cape Town, South Africa! I recently came across this site and I am amazed at the amount of valuable information that can be gained from these forums.
We were recently successful in our application for residency in NZ, and our passports have just been returned containing our residency visas. Our family, consisting of me, hubby, a 3 year old and a 6 month old have until 5th December this year to enter New Zealand.
I have a million questions to ask this wise forum, but thought I would just say Hi to begin with, and not boggle anyone's mind from the word go.

We really have to go wherever my husband Andy can get a job. He is currently in the textiles industry which as you know is a bit of a disaster everywhere! At this stage, it will probably be Auckland as there is a large textiles company there which he has been talking to.
We came over to Auckland 18 months ago to have a "look-see", and we found an area called Greenhithe which we really loved, but still need to do a bit of scouting. I also believe that an area called Pukekohe is really nice? Any knowledge of either of these areas anyone?
