.... and I'm terrified! :wah
I sent my PR application (partnership policy) today and now that it is finally out of my hands I'm scared! I'm panicking :yes . I've managed to convince myself I have missed something out of the application or filled the forms in wrong even though I checked everything about a hundred times.
I felt the same when I went for my medical as it was the only part of compiling the application that I wasn't in control of the outcome.
Now my application is at someone elses mercy I suppose there's nothing left to do but wait and try not to worry.
Fingers, toes, eyes all crossed!

Anna you are feeling all the things I did. At every stage I thought it was all going to go wrong. It didn't and we are here and loving it. You will be to soon. Have faith and it will all work out for you. :)

I feel for ya! I'm going to send mine in this week too - what if I forget something :no . What if they won't accept a photocopy of this :no . I spent the whole weekend agonizing over the details. Once this is over, then I just have to start fretting about tax. Ugh.
Anybody been hearing about Wellington processing times lately? I'm going for the skilled migrant category ...
Good luck to you!

My back is killing me after hunching over the photocopier and the living room floor organizing the ITA. Bundled it all up now - going to send it tomorrow. I can't wait. :yes

Im in the same boat as you. I sent mine in 6 days ago and it crosses my mind that ive did something wrong in filling in the application, that i have omitted something even though i know i triple checked everything. Oh well i am sure they will contact us if anything is amiss or they need extra info on anything.

I wouldn't worry too much. NZIS will get in touch with you if you have omitted something from your application and will give you time to get it to them. They are very approachable and after all human. ;)

I took my application to NZ House 3 weeks ago. Like you I worried that something was missing but lovely fellah there went through it all and said all ok on face of it. Then the following Monday I had a phone call from a very friendly girl from NZ House telling me my radiology report was incomplete! AAAGH!! I knew it had all been there cos I remember it being signed, and completing all info with her. Anyway after a bit of shuffling of papers she found it..PHEW. You can't imagine the relief, I had visions of going through it all again....and paying again!
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, if there is a problem, they'll be in touch, and they all seem so friendly and down to earth.
Now all I have to do is wait....
Good luck.:nice1

Just did a quick scan on the immi website for processing times, and I see "95% of all applications for residence under the Skilled Migrant Category will be completed within 6 - 9 months from when we accept your application for processing."
I guess if you have firm job offer in NZ that can go *much* faster, but that's not me. 6-9 months .... sniff
So patient.

I bet that 6-9 months will seem to fly past though - before you know it you'll be standing in the airport about the step onto the plane and wondering where all the time went.
Well, I just checked my bank statement and NZIS took my application fee from my account today. Why oh why can't the rest of the process be so quick :laugh Every time I check the processing times for the partnership policy the times get longer :wah it now states 8wks to allocate to a case officer, then 2-4months to process. Ah well.

I wouldn't worry too much on the time lines they give you.
I was told I would be expecting to wait at least a year (that being 6-9months for a case officer to be allocated)
My PR came through in 2 months (Partnership Policy )
Good luck all !:D

I wouldn't know where to look. I didn't apply through the EOI route so I don't have any details registered with the NZIS website. Must feel exciting though - small but significant step! :laugh

Oo that is pretty quick. Was that applying from within NZ? I'm hoping to move in August so even if it takes maximum amount of time quoted then it should still be before then - fingers, eyes, toes all crossed :laugh
