Hi there
I always get such helpful advise - so again - another question.....
Is it possible, arriving in Wellington 7 months pregnant- to arrange a homebirth?

This is my third baby and I had both my other children at home in the UK and would love to have baby number three at home too

Will it be possible?
Does anyome know ?
How do I go about sorting it out ?
We arrive in May and baby is due in July

Any help would be great!

I would try and make contacts now if I were you, cant help with welly, or with homebirth :p , but check out these three threads, should help you out a bit with some info, websites etc to look at

Firstly, congratulations on expecting 3rd, join the club :raebanana !

I am also having homebirth in chch, jubjub had already point out my thread for you.

And then they will tell you how to get midwife in welly...(they don't give you midwife like UK, you have to find your own midwife who will be with you before birth, during birth and 6 weeks after birth :nice1 )

My advice is get it sort out before you arrive, ideal now. If want birthpool, book it asap via your NZ midwife as they are popular.
