HI,
Going through the cycle of posts people put on and doing exactly the same,
but all in one go as its happened so fast (IN ONE WEEKEND!)
blue stickers (friday) (YEY):raebanana
Booked flights :nice1 (saturday)
Its hard saying goodbye :wah (sunday) had to say bye to my twin brother, parents, sisters aunty etc it was hell...:( very miserable drive home 300miles)
Movers will get shipping compant to collect stuff that i havent sold this week
Kids party on saturday to let him say bye to his freinds, then we leave our rental on sunday and go on the road to say bye to janes family then fly out on 15 and arrive a day or two later ion auckland!!!!
its been a bit of a roller coaster weekend

Wow! I'm impressed - all of that in 3 days and you fly out in 10 days?
Good going - at least it doesn't give you any time to worry about what lies ahead.
I'd like to think we'd have a similar time frame, if only I didn't have to give three months' notice at work.

i took the gamble and gave notice at work before id even heard about the visa's...bit scary at times as nothing was certain but gamble paid off.

OO! That's something to look into. I mean, I can take a leave of absence here for a year or more (in case it doesn't work out), but I should probably see how much lead-time they need to set it up.

What a weekend! The emotions make it even more pwerfully affecting, I reckon. Still, you won't feel as if you are standing still ofr quite some time! We still feel a bit "whirlwindy" and that's three and a half months in!

Hey - better to get it over with quickly than drag it all out I reckon. Those last few weeks just felt like endless goodbyes and as if time was standing still. Good luck with everything
