Hi ya all,
Just a quick note to say that we're arrived. We fly with Singapore, who were, as per usual, excellent. We had 86kgs, but weren't charged any baggage allowance. We also missed out on two upgrades, as it went to two singles instead.
We left Heathrow on a cold and windy Tuesday and after uneventful flight, we arrived on Thursday lunchtime.
As the moment, we're staying in a serviced apartment near to the CBD and Tony's work have been graceful enough to let him use their bandwidth to search for properties (and post this on the forum).
Anyway it is all good - and for those outside NZ, it is a very warm and sunny 25 degrees.
We will post a fully message in due course, with our thoughts compared and expectations, but in the meantime, we can't wait to meet up with some of you as we're here. In fact, I think our most over used expression is 'I can't believe we are here.'
All we have to do know is catch up with the weeks worth of posts that we've missed since leaving the UK shores...
