Felt an earthquake a while ago.

Stumbled upon this:

Yep - we were all pretty excited here, (in palmy) its the first one we felt, we all looked at each to see if everyone was feeling it. Kev said it felt like being on the side of a busy road and having a big truck go past!

No i actually have no clue about the faultline. Are there some well-known ones? Geez, I thought SoCal was the only place you had to worry about this. I guess all the volcanoes should have been my first hint. :laugh

By the way, my dog started barking a minute or so before it happened. Guess those low frequencies or something.

Does that mean that every time a dog barks we should hide under a table. Sounds like a great excuse for not doing any work

NZ and SoCal are both on the Pacific Ring of Fire - same plate action. I remember we had a minor shakes when LA had its big quakes.

Personally, I use it as a reason to take a shot, but maybe that's just me. Whatever flops your mop. :p

But seriously, noticed that cats seem even more sensitive to the quakes. (maybe that's just the booze talking though)
