Yay - we have finally been assigned a Case Officer. Received letter in the post this morning. :D Would you believe that Sam handed his notice in at work this morning? He must have known.

Unfortunately I have to make yet another trip up to the panel doctor in Perth as he forgot to fill in a complete section on Dylan's medical report. :wah This will be my third visit - he forgot to sign Sam's at all. I can't believe it as I took all the other's up with me at the time and he was supposed to have checked them through.

So while he may have been a lovely man - I certainly wouldn't recommend getting your medicals done there.:no

At last things seem to be moving for you although you seem to have had a nightmare with the medicals. I wish I could hand in my notice but I am waiting for redundancy and can't afford to miss the redundancy payments.
Hope everything speeds up now you have a case officer and that they don't find anymore problems

Brilliant news Paula - I'm so pleased you've got the case officer since you'd already done everything you could at your end. Let's hope this is a CO who is super quick on the paperwork checking. Best of luck xx

Thanks for the good wishes. Well I managed to get up to Perth this afternoon and the doctor filled in the relevant section of the medical report and resigned it. Obviously not happy about having to make a 60 mile round journey but at least it's done now.

Just got to sort out paperwork with regards to Sam's contract with his current employer. Apparently NZIS don't accept certified copies for this - only originals.

Hopefully in a position to send this on Monday. The CO stated in her letter that she hoped to be able to make a quick decision. We've got our fingers crossed that everything ties in nicely with the sale of the house (end of April).

Just checked your blog and your case officer seems to be the same person who checked my application when I took it in (not such a common first name, and same initials!) If so, then I got a really positive vibe off her, so hopefully your future progress will go swimmingly.

Well done Paula and congrats on the CO. It must be a lucky time as we have been given Decision Successful on the EOI today. Our ITA is winging it's way over to us. Still a long road ahead I know but I do have a few butterflies as I type.:raebanana
