:yes We are feeling excited/worried/scared. Is this normal? I know we still have a long way to go but now I feel more worthy as a member on this forum.

Hi,

Congrulation :-)

I see that ITA recieved after some time selection. I selected Feb 28. When I expected to got my ITA?

Another question in my mind is What kinds of things are investigated by nz imm. agency after selection in order to send ITA? If someone would answer me I will be happy.

Thanks alot.

I guess in approximately 4-6 weeks. I also guess you haven't got a job offer. If you have they take priority. It is another nightmare once you get the ITA though. Have you had your qualifications assessed?

you dont need the full assessment in order to get your ITA.

but you will need it to be able to send back your ITA to NZIS. so you might as well apply for it now.

Yes we really wish we had known about his. On the NZIS it still reads that if your trade is listed and you can prove that apprenticeship was with a registered company then it won't need to be assessed. We are now in a position that we need to get references urgently and send off to NZQA...hope that the assessment comes back quickly in order to send it with ITA. 16 weeks is not long when you need to chase people form 20 years ago and send all original certificates etc to NZ and hope they come back intact :wah

Yup, all those feelings and more, and it doesn't get easier, not trying to be negative, just remember that we all have to go through some highs and lows, more often lows if truth be known, but just ride the wave. This forum is fantastic, it is like a huge online agony aunt base. Got a problem, post and there is someone who can help. If they can't at least you can get it off your chest to understanding people in the same boat as yourselves.
