I received a note from my landlord that a valuer will be going thru my flat. What does that mean? Will she sell the flat? Increase my rent? Sorry no clue. Hope anyone can help.

could mean lots of things. she could be selling but with tennants in place, could be getting it valued for tax/divorce purposes.

When we were renting the valuer came a couple of times - it was to check some works that had been done (quite minor too) which had changed the value of the house for insurance purposes (and council rates purposes).
