Just finished reading the thread by robberger who is trying to get to NZ before his wife gives birth.
In our situation, we were granted PR in December 2005 while in the process of adopting our daughter. We had many email conversations with our immigration person during the process and she even delayed the beginning dates of the Residency Visas to help accomodate us. She also told us to wait until we arrived in NZ to apply for PR for our daughter. The adoption was final in May 2006. We arrive in Wellington 26 April 2007!
But after reading robberger's thread, I am worried. Has anyone else been in this situation?
