Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

We'll be hot on your heels Pinkpiggy (except you've sold your house, we haven't):( Wasn't expecting to hear anything until April time so it was a pleasant surprise!

ITA submitted 18th Dec so they must be catching up a bit now.

Yay!! :D It's a great feeling isn't it. What's the name of yours, maybe we'll have the same one. Ours is Amelia Foley. I spoke to her today and she seems okay. Have to send her a couple of further bits of information, then have the settling interview and hopefully a decision about 2 weeks after that.

Do you think you'll be at the NW meet at the end of April?

Hey Congrats! So close..

I'm actually not certain I have a CO yet or not. I got a note from someone asking me to provide additional documentation. Does that mean i have one too? :o (or do they have someone else first make sure all the needed documents are there before doing the assessing)

:cheers

Hi Paula
Ours is called Ricky Clarkson, he had a medical query re Sarah which we have been able to resolve immediately which is good.

And yes, we will definitely be at the NW meet - very depressed probably as we'll only just have got back from our reccie! Do you think you'll be able to manage it? Maybe tricky for you as you'll probably be heading on your way around that time! Would be good to see you both again before you go and to get your signatures on my (cheaper than Dee's) flag!:laugh

Hi, we'll be doing the 'rounds' then so it shouldn't be a problem. Leeds and Cheshire (in no particular order) and finally ending up in Epsom. SIL lives there and it's nice and handy for Heathrow airport.;)

Our case officer was also Amelia Foley. She does a very thorough job, but is very nice throughout the entire thing. She is the one that asked me to demonstrate my commitment to getting skilled employment in NZ and that had us get Husband's x-ray certificate. The information provided satisfied her questions and the settlement interview was successful (we are approved in principle).

So you're prepared, she plays everything close to the vest, meaning that she'll tell you what the process is, but won't give you any clues whether she's leaning positively or negatively. Nail-biting up to the end!!!

Amelia Foley was our case officer and we have a few emails backwards and forwards, have to say she was excellent, replied very promptly and dealth with everything very quickly. We had a couple of problems when they thought I had had breast cancer!!!!!!!!:uhoh They had toatlly read it wrong on the medical, it was a cyst which no further treatment was needed for, we had to get the doctor to do a letter stating exactly what was what, but she dealt with it all quickly.

I'd say you have a good one there! :nice1

Cheers for that Marcia - i remember the problems you had with your cyst as I had a similar scare last year. I managed to get the dr to give me a copy of the letter from the breast clinic saying that all was fine and it was muscular. I enclosed this with our ITA so hopefully won't cause any problems. :uhoh
