Hi Guys!

Are there any Painters and Decorator's on the Forum?
My OH is one, and is currently in Auckland on a recce for work opportunities/ locations to live etc.

He has City and Guilds qualifications to advanced level and 30 yrs experience.

Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.

up our neck of the woods, Whitianga on the Coromandel peninsular.
I am a painter myself and had a job within 2 weeks of arriving here on visitors visa.
I understand that Auckland has plenty of oportunity in the building trades generally as well,but the competion for jobs is much greater.
