Are on the ltss list but what type of uni. lecturer?

I think any type. As long as you're offered an academic position in a tertiary education institution (polytechnics also count!). Even if the job title itself says something else (such as "advisor", etc), your employer has to write a letter saying that the position is comparable to University lecturer from ltss list and you're on! You may need to prove that you have necessary qualifications (MA/PhD papers) to be University Lecturer tho.

Any University lecturer - it doesn't matter what subject area you teach.
I'm not sure where you're from, but I found academia here very different to the UK. There was very little pressure in relation to research and publishing, no tenure worries amongst faculty, less stress regarding admin loads...
