I'm doing a draft copy of our residence application form and I'm stuck on what is going to sound really stupid - but here goes:
On question A16 'Family Details' theres a small box which says partnership status - now do I put e.g. mother, or do I put whether they are married, divorced etc?

Ok, Im assuming you are not the principle applicant? They really want to know whether the principle applicant is married/divorced etc etc.

Twig, don't worry I asked exactly the same question of the forum when I completed my application! They want to know whether your parents are married/divorced etc. I haven't been told any different by NZ House and they are looking at mine as we speak. Yeah! :clap

Im confused...

Are you applying for permanent residence as a skilled migrant? Because on question A16 there is no mention of family yet. It is the principle applicant's details. Unless they have somehow changed the order of the questions or you are applying under a different category?

This is my understanding, too. I referred to A9 for the categories to use.

Kiwiroberts - I think it's a different form to the one you used. The one I'm looking at is called "Application for Residence in New Zealand" - it's the one you use if you are applying under family or partnership, among others.
