I'm looking at the application form (we are going down the partner route) to apply for my permanent residency. We have four children, and we are currently in the process of getting them their New Zealand passports through my partner, the Kiwi.

Do I need to still fill in all their details on the form? I mean, they are obviously coming with us (as tempting as it may be some days to maybe not take them all... :)), but they won't need a residence permit. Has anyone experience with this? It would feel so odd to just leave all that section blank, as if I didn't have them, on the other hand, I really don't want to fill all that stuff out and provide tons of passport pictures if I don't really need to.

Thanks,
Daniela

I would think if they have their passports then you wouldn't need to but if you are applying before their passports are in hand I would probably add them on. Alternatively you could ring immigration and ask and then you would know.

Yes, it's on my list of questions (getting longer and longer, at £1 a minute I don't anticipate a cheap call...) that I try to get together before I ring them :). I was just wondering if anyone here had done this, and how.

Thanks,
Daniela

There is a local number you can call instead of the premium one - it's been mentioned on the forum a few times... I'm sure someone on here has it.
