Hi all. We arrive in Christchurch on Monday morning for our long-awaited reccie. Never travelled more than 4 hours on a plane before, so clueless as to how we're going to feel when we arrive, but expecting the worst! Can anyone suggest a handy shop in Papanui Rd or nearby to get our teabags and cornflakes from for when we come to after collapsing in our motel room? We're staying about 5 mins from Hagley Park (according to the 'glossy' blurb on the motel website). Look forward to catching up with you on here when we get to the other side, as we'll be taking our laptop with us to keep in touch. Any tips gratefully received on sights, campsites and job hunting!!
