If you want somewhere closer then the Melton Estate (in West Melton - on the way to Darfield) is currently open for lunches etc on Fri/Sat/Sun's - it's usually closed and for private events only.

You could then walk off the wine and food round the Nutpoint Gallery or the Lavender Farm :nice1
