hello everybody! (especially diny, moorf, shagen, veronica, marie, etc)
i never thought i'd say this, but now yahoo, i can! our WTR invite was sent to us last wednesday, giving us until June 19 to submit our passports and proof of funds to nzis shanghai for them to stamp the little blue thing. after waiting for almost 7000 years since we submitted our eoi (november 2004), we can now join the ranks of kiwi hopefuls wanting to start a new life in nz.
i started my journey to nz here in this forum, have formed our philippine version of this with other filipinos who also started here, and made international friends over cyberspace who i hope i can meet finally in new zealand when we fly there before the year ends. i'm very grateful for the help the people here shared with all of us, and the entertaining debates and word exchanges (something like the battle of 1776 between the brits and the yanks, hahaha) that taught me much about the us and british perspective about nz, and everything else in between. :laugh
for those still waiting for their visas, no worries! a lot of patience and perseverance and faith in your God to carry you all the way to the end are very much what you will need to see your migration through. and even beyond. keep your chin up and the stiff upper lip.
cheers:raebanana
