Hi....my daughter is going on a trip to Europe mid-June, and I figure our ITA won't have been processed by the time she needs her passport for her trip.

I'm thinking of going ahead and asking for it back soon (as to save a scramble to get it later). In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have sent the passport but a certified copy instead (mad rush to get ITA mailed on time affected my brain function :roll )

How do I go about getting it back? And will they be Ok with doing this? Will I need to pay them for doing this?

Thanks.

Christine

I left OH's passport with NZIS in London when I took the application in in person and they said just to ring or write to them with the application number if we wanted it back before the processing was done.

I don't think you'll have to pay extra as postage is included in the application fee. But you will need to post it back to them out of your own costs when it's time to have a blue sticker put in.
