Having lived in UK all my life I have become used to the comfort of central heating. With the climate being similar in NZ to UK what heating options are there and what are the pitfalls of logburners etc...? How much is it to get central heating installed? I can't see my 2 boys coping without it for long.

Where are you headed Nickydwuk? We've been in Eastern Beach since November and have not yet needed any heating, although I'm sure other people might have a different experience....
