Just sent an email to our CO only to get her out of office reply stating she is on holiday until 11th April. We move out of our house on 27 April and need to be booking flights before then. Argghhh. Does anybody know whether anyone else will deal in her absence?

Can't answer the question but would suggest a phone call may be in order to let them know what you are up to and to chase them along

You sound like you're fairly committed anyway .. is your hurry to get PR before you fly just that you want to book one way flights?
I would think it was unlikely that another Case Officer will be dealing with it but you never know. Maybe if your application is right at the end when it needs to be checked by another officer then it is possible.
Best of luck!

When we moved over here our CO went on hols for a whole month & she had someone covering her work who was listening to her messages on her number - have you tried leaving a voicemail for her? We got phoned straight back & told that she'd sent our passports to us that day...

The other reason being that she had asked for some additional info from OH's employers and we want to double check that what we have sent her is what she requires, as OH leaves work on 13 April and it will be very difficult for him to get anything once he leaves. She only returns to work on 11 April.
