Just had OHs pre-assess back........ Level 7 which is exactly what we needed.

Good timing too given the expo is tomorrow. :nice1

Just hope they don't assess it as anything different if we have to get a proper assessment done by NZQA. Has anyone ever had that happen to them?

Hi there it was the opposite with us we were assessed a level higher at full assesment both my quals one went from 4 to 5 and one from 2 to 3.

Myrkk, I think you need to have a full assessment now in any case. The rules changed in December 2006. Hopefully somebody else on the forum can clarify this????

you need a full assessment before you submit your ITA if:

you are claiming points for work exp/quals in an area of absolute skills shortage
and
you don't have a job offer.

mmm,cheers for confirming the rules change. I wondered if anyone had ever had their assessment downgraded?
