Hi guys

I thought I would try my luck on this site first.

My partner is a scientist (Analytical chemist) to be precise, now I am a teacher and I have had my qualifications assessed by NZQA and all was fine. Do you know if scientists need to have their qualifications assessed in the same way, I can not find any information about it?

He seems to be under the impression he does not.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that if he wants to claim points as part of the EOI, and his degree is not mentioned on the list then he will need to get NZQA to assess them.
If his qualification is on the list then he won't.

My advice may be a bit out of date though - check the NZIS manual to be certain.
