I've just finished the paperwork for NZQA and the EOI is still churning around in my computer. Reading everything I can get my hands on - thank heaven for this forum - but fear of rejection is kicking in. Normal paranoia perhaps. Deal with it. But...althought the age limit is technically 55 - and we're a few years off that - is there an unwritten barrier lower than that? Trouble is we're both about 25 on the inside and it's only when we look in the mirror or fill in forms and keep writing the dates down that we realise that we are now officially heading into wrinkledom. We don't want to go to NZ to retire - we want to keep working (teacher and stockman) - are we being too optimistic?
I'm fitter than half the kids I teach!

lockstock, I believe the age limit is as stated. We were 45 and 46 when we got PR, so I think the offer to NZ is genuine if you meet the stated criteria.
