Where do most people go for this type of thing in NZ?

I've found a family planning site but they don't seem to have the extended hours that you would get in the UK. Do most kiwis get their family planning, smears and check ups at the GP or family planning or specialist Dr?

I come from a family with a history of cancers so I want to organise all the usual check ups and give a gentle reminder to everyone else out there how knows they are overdue a check up.

My GP takes care of all that, don't know if that is the norm over here though.

I go to the family planning clinic for everything. I have a family history of cervical cancer, so wanted to get checked out. They offer liquid cytology smears here, which are apparantly more accurate than those on a slide - and that only cost me 50 bucks.
I didn't use my GP as I didn't actually bother to register with one until a couple of years after I'd arrived...
