I'm guessing this is not a new question, but do you have to register with a doctor in NZ, or are there any advantages in doing so? I'm thinking of things like home visits.
I have health insurance which would cover the bill, and as a student I have the uni surgery to visit. But what would happen if I was unable to get there?
As I live alone in a rural area, this is preying on my mind a bit, so I'd welcome any advice.
