Hi everyone

Just trying to get some advice. I'm thinking of re-training and going down the flexible PGCE route with the Open University as it makes the most sense for me as I am a stay-at-home mum and wouldn't want to study full-time again and this works well around other committments.

We are desparately trying to immigrate to NZ in the next 2 to 3 years and I was wondering if anyone had been down this route and could offer some advice. Does NZQA accept the flexible PGCE as a proper qualification (I know they can be very picky with what they will and will not accept) and will it be as equally recognised in NZ as any other PGCE?

I would be most grateful for any advice you can give me.

Thanks
Kerry

Sorry, I have no idea what the answer to the question is, but I am thinking of doing PGCE myself, and will be really interested to see what people comment. I was in my second year of PGCE and 3 months off completing and was involved in car accident and couldn't complete, so I have to repeat whole year...but have no time as we are planning to go to NZ when house has sold!!!
