UK petrol IS expensive at 84pence per litre. 109.90 dollars per litre is half the price it is in the UK. I can't wait to get to Hamilton and fill up!!

There have been many comments on this forum regarding prices in NZ being higher than else where. It may be true of USA prices, but as far as UK prices are concerned, I have found in my trips to NZ that most prices are a lot lower than here (carpet, paint and wallpaper being 3 notable exceptions).

43 pence per litre!!!!, My grandfather used to tell me stories of fuel being that price once. Its worth flying over and filling up a jerry can.
