Does anyone have any experience or reccomendations about secondary schools in the Hutt area ? We are just looking for areas to buy or rent and i think secondary school will be an important factor. Does anyone know which secondary school has Silverstream and Pinehaven in their zone ? Thanks

Secondary school it would be Heretaunga College or Upper Hutt College. Or there is a Catholic Boy's School, St Patricks College in the area. Don't know what these schools are like though.

www.ero.govt.nz will give you the school reports like Ofsted a good starting point but you'll probably need to visit these schools when you arrive to get a real feeling for them.
