Hi

Does anyone have a link to the PDF form to get a Police Certificate from the UK?

We are in NZ, and area little confused on how to get one from the uk. How do we send the police the money? Do we have to send our passports?

Any advise from people who have done this from NZ would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Not sure if this will be any help to you or not, but I was from London (Metropolitan Police ) and I had to send a Bankers Cheque for Ten Pounds Sterling.
You do not send Passport, Just a photocopy signed by a Justice of the Peace, and also a Certified Birth Certificate - also signed by JP.

You can actually apply for the police certificate online via the Essex Police website if you still have a British bank account and debit or credit card.
You don't need to send your passport - a copy of your drivers licence is enough. You can get it certified by a JP or solicitor for free in NZ. (They aren't allowed to charge for this service.)

We have just applied for another set and all you need to send is proof of present address, a copy of birth certificate(for ID puposes) and a 10 pound fee for each person.
