Well, we made it!
Landed on 11th 9.40am at Napier airport!
What a journey, 4hrs from Neath to Heathrow, then 3 hrs wait till we took off. It was then an 11hr trip to LA, a 2 hr stop which was great - not any probs like people had reported, even with our 4 yr old. Then it was a 12.5 trip to Auckland, which felt neverending!!.
On reaching Auckland, it was then a 3hr wait before a last 1hr trip to Napier.
Jetlag has taken over, find ourselves sleeping ungodly times, but know it will be worth it.
Hubby starts work on 16th, in meantime, looking for house and car.

Hi Sharon
Welcome to NZ! We bought our v reliable car from Stu MacDonald motors which is in Napier. He was the nicest man I've ever met. He arranged all the paperwork, insurance, WOF etc, and held the car for 2 months for us until we arrived. He even booked us a restaurant for lunch!!
