Have any chef's been successful recently with their EOI? From what I can find out chef's are needed on the Long Term Shortage list and the C & G qualifications seem to be approved and recognised by NZ. Has anyone had problems with their applications? Does anyone have any tips to helping a successful application, cos we're finding it all a bit confusing?

We submitted our EOI wirh my partners qualifications and over 15 years work experience (706/1 & 706/2), plus a job offer.

We were selected and are now gathering our evidence for our ITA.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions but basically 706/1 & 706/2 on their own are not sufficient, you need a job offer/work experience to qualify.

From what we have found there is a massive demand and you shouldnt have too much difficulty getting a job.
