Hi guys,

Jack is discovering that there is more to lego than just chewing it and I wondered if I could be cheeky and ask if anyone had a boxfull that was no longer used. In good condition ideally, and I will of course make a donation. In hindsight I should have bought some in the UK, in hindsight I should have bought a lot of things in the UK :laugh We are in Hamilton but can travel anywhere within reason to collect.

Hope this isnt cheeky but my nana (RIP) used to say 'if u dont ask u dont get!'

Thanks Amanda :D

Sorry, still heavy lego users in this house, but what sort of things would you have bought here? We're constantly going through our stuff wondering if it is worth taking it, if it is slightly not working, is it worth it to replace it here or should we wait till we get there, etc.

I'd be interested to hear what you think you should have bought over here instead of there!

Thanks,
Daniela

Will have a word with the girls Amanda when they rise out of their pits. They have some and i think at the age they are they may well have grown out of it.

Thanks Kim,

Daniela bring all the kids toys, think ahead if u can and buy their xmas pressies if u can afford it. Im findin toys are expensive here, compared to the wage cut we've taken. Also if the kids have good brand name toys that last well u will be able to sell them on trade me or ebay once they have grown out of them, the NZ dollars u will get will be handy for u. Ive only been here 3 wks and havent moved into the house yet so cant comment on household items.

Example a breadmaker. $279 and for the same one in the UK £80. There are quite a few things I wish I brought with me but everytime someone asks me I can't remember what they are!!! :roll :roll :roll (Will have to start a list as I think of them!)
