We will be buying a house in Christchurch, Can anyone recommend a Christchurch Solicitor and does anyone have any ideas on their cost?

We have used mortlock & mccormack law each time we have needed a solicitor and have been more than happy with them. The name of the guy we first dealt with is Tony Herring but we are dealing with a Tania this time. I have a feeling that the first house we bought which was a straightforward transaction was under a $1000 ($700 rings a bell) but can't find the written word to prove it.
We are using them again at the moment in a land deal with complications and they are proving good again. The phone number I am using is 03 3535 795

Solicitors fees for house buying have been around the $800 - $1000 mark, depending on whether the LIM throws up anything that needs investigating, or if other problems occur.
