Hi all,
We have made a decision last night!!!!
We are going to go...house sold or not.
Planning is: end of februari 2005, sooner if possible.

Important requirement: me having at least a one year contract in or preferably above Auckland.
It doesn't really matter to me what i will do as long as i can pay for the morgage and costs at home (my Kiwi partner will provide NZ rent and food...)
That means that i will have to earn at least 2200 NZ a month (all of it going to the Netherlands!!!). Renting out is not an option, because i really want to sell the house and that would not be possible with renters in.
Is this plan crazy or do-able? Working permit does not worry me too much, because NZIS told my Kiwi that they would help us out with a temporary one. I can get a working holiday visum also, as i am 29. Having a year contract is not allowed then, but could be used till i have the working permit.

Who has tips for me or knows a job for me?
I have got 6 years of experience in IT Telecom (SMS, MMS and WAP systems). 2 years as a test engineer and 4 years as a requirements engineer (business analyst). My work at the moment entails analysing customer change requests, making sure that they are followed up (member of change control board) and for some CRs doing detailed analysis, writing user requirements (in English).
I can type fast. I am a fast learner and a team player, have good communication skills, take initiative and my working attitude is excellent (as my chef told me in my last jobcontrol...). I can speak English and German fluently.

I have an English CV available for everyone/(anyone?) interested.

Thanks!

Karoline

Karoline,

some motgage companies in Uk allow you to suspend payments for upto 6 months.

Is this an option or could you look into it and ask your bank for a bit of leaway . It might ease the financial situation in NZ.

Good Luck

Jo
