Yes, I read all the threads with intense interest. And, we have learned so many things to help us plan and ease the way...! And after 8 months of waiting (we applies in April) we heard that our case oofficer would commence in December. Just recieved the good news by email!!

The wait is very frustrating - especially 8 months. But we are feeling very grateful that the opportunity is available and that a country with no obligation to us has made this offer! Now we will see what we can offer back in return!!

We are moving from the Savannah, Georgia area. Anyone with words of advice, please message me! We have to locate a mover and have a cat!

8 Months !!!!!!!!!!!

Jeeze that's a long time. I lodged my application for PR under the family partnership category 3 months ago and have just heard that everything is fine and PR should be issued within 6 weeks max. I thought that was slow !!!

It all comes to those who wait. Good luck.
